Terms and conditions when booking a
Let’s Clay
class

Thank you so much for wanting to book a Let's Clay ceramics class. Before you do so, please read and accept these terms and conditions. These are also linked when booking a class.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

The price includes all materials you use during the class, and glazing and firing of your finished pieces.

(Wheel throwing classes) Depending on the flow of the class, students are usually able to create 4 finished pieces during a Single-day, 6 pieces during a 3- to 4-weeks class and 10 pieces during a 5- to 6 weeks class. These are included in the class price. If you manage to produce more than this amount, we kindly ask you for a fee of 75 DKK per extra piece you wish to keep.

CANCELLATION

The class will only take place if a minimum of 6 students signs up (so tell a friend!), and currently has a maximum of 8 attendees to obtain the best quality for each individual student.

If we, Let's Clay, are in any way forced to cancel your class (including force majeure), you will be offered to be moved to another class or receive a voucher to book any present or future class that suits you best.

If you, the student, are prevented from participating in the full class or a part of it - including because of sickness, disease or other - we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund, a voucher or similar, nor can we guarantee it will be possible to move you to another class, but we will always do what we can to find a solution for you.

If you are prevented from participating, you are welcome to gift/sell on your full booking to someone else.

DONATION TO CHARITY

Let's Clay donates a portion of our sales of weekly classes to nature preserving charities, so you can get your hands dirty with a clear conscience. Read more about our environmental efforts here.

LANGUAGE

Any class will be taught in English if one or more English speaking students are attending. If the class has no English speaking students attending, the class will be taught in Danish, unless otherwise stated on the individual classes on the booking page.

When signing up for our classes, we ask you to fill in your personal information and also ask you a few additional questions. These are only used internally and are in no way shared with third parties.

Terms and conditions for Events

Thank you so much for wanting to book a Let's Clay Event with us. Before you do so, please read and accept these terms and conditions. These are also stated when booking your event with us.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

The prices include everything - an instructor, all materials, trimming, finishing, glazing and firing of your creations (1~ piece per activity per person), cleaning and some light snacks.

We offer an "open bar" for +50,- per person (sodas, beer, wine). Please let us know prior to the event if this is something you wish to add to your event.

BOOKING, CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

We ask for a deposit of 3490 DKK (or full amount if less), which will be deducted from the final event price.

Booking is final after payment of deposit.

Cancellation policies for private events are 50% refund up to 2 weeks before, and no refund closer than 2 weeks, as a safety for our instructors.

If one or more attendees are prevented from participating in the full event or a part of it - including because of sickness, disease or other - we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund, a voucher or similar, and will need to claim full payment for the booked amount of attendees.

LANGUAGE

Any class/event will be taught in English if one or more English speakers are attending. If the class has no English speaking students attending, the class will be taught in either English or Danish depending on your instructors native language.

AFTER THE EVENT

The ceramics pieces you make at the event will be done 4-6 weeks after the event. We will let you know on email when you can pick up your pieces. We have wrapped them all in a lovely Let’s Clay box with your name on, and we kindly ask you to pick all your pieces up at the same time for you to unbox together at the office or at home.

Making ceramics is a long and complex process and sometimes (but rarely) a piece can break during that process. If that happens to your piece, we will happily compensate you with a voucher to join our Social “Let’s Make a Mug”-activity.
